Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Porter to join our hospitality team, providing exceptional overnight guest services and ensuring the safety and security of our property. As a Night Porter, you will be the first point of contact during the late hours, delivering warm hospitality, managing guest inquiries, and maintaining a secure environment. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests arriving during the night shift with friendly, professional demeanor and assist with check-in procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest service skills.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, patrolling premises, and controlling access points to ensure safety for all guests and staff.
- Handle late-night administrative tasks such as logging arrivals, departures, incidents, and shift reports accurately.
- Support guests with luggage assistance or directions around the property as needed.
- Coordinate with emergency services or management during incidents or emergencies to ensure swift resolution.
- Keep common areas clean, organized, and well-maintained during overnight hours to uphold hospitality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially in roles involving guest services or front desk operations.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating effectively with diverse guests.
- Strong phone etiquette skills are essential for managing guest inquiries professionally over the phone.
- Familiarity with security procedures such as CCTV monitoring and access control enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Experience working night shifts or in roles requiring vigilance and attention to detail is beneficial.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and excellent customer service skills will help create memorable guest experiences.
