Rhug Estate Farm Shop and Café are looking for café assistants to join our growing team. You will be required to serve customers on the till, serve food and make drinks to order on our barista coffee machine. To be successful in this role you must have exceptional customer service skills, be polite, respectful and hard working. During the peak summer months we can see up to 3,000 tourists through the door each day and it can therefore be a very busy place to work, so you must be able to cope well under pressure in such circumstances, as well as working well as part of a team.
Barista experience and food hygiene knowledge / certificates would be beneficial but not essential as training will also be provided.
Hours are typically 8am-5pm, and the café is open 7 days a week. Weekend work is required although this is always done as fairly as possible. Bank holiday work is also required..
