Children’s Residential Night Support Worker – Be the Calm in Their Night
This isn’t just a job.
This is being the person who helps a child feel safe when the world goes quiet.
At Rainbows Corner in Rotherham, we care for children with physical and learning disabilities, including Autism. During the night, when routines change and reassurance matters most, we’re looking for calm, caring, and dependable individuals who can provide comfort, safety, and stability.
We are a five-bed home, currently supporting boys full of energy, humour, and personality. By night, what they need most are positive role models who create a sense of security—someone who is present, attentive, and ready to respond with patience and understanding.

- Wants your work to truly matter
- Takes pride in helping others feel safe and supported
- Works well as part of a close, supportive team
- Can stay calm, observant, and reassuring through the night
- Understands the importance of consistency and trust
…then you could be the person who makes all the difference when it matters most.
At Rainbows Corner, you’re not just filing a shift.
You’re giving childhood back—and that is something powerful.
