Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and visitors.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and kept in pristine condition.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleanliness goals across the facility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting light loads and standing for extended periods.
