Job description:
We are a leading accredited Air Quality & Environmental Consultancy based in the West Midlands. We manufacture a variety of equipment relating to air quality, specifically, dust suppression and odour control.
We’re currently looking for a full time field Technician to join our engineering & production team. The role mainly consists of visiting customer sites around the UK to service and maintain equipment and install new equipment.
The position requires a dynamic, flexible person who thrives in a fast-paced working environment. A driving license is essential and a Cherry Picker license an advantage.
The applicant must be computer literate, as our systems are run digitally and have a basic understanding of the use of tablets when on-site for reporting and communicating.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending customer sites to repair equipment and carry out servicing
- Attending customer sites to install new equipment
- Assembly of equipment at head office
- Repair of equipment at head office
- Completion of ‘Return to base’ assessments of equipment at head office
- Working on site in such industries as Quarries, Mines, Sewage Treatment Works, Water works, Gas works and other industrial areas.
- Indoor and Outdoor working
- Nights away from home for works that run over several days or where longer distance trips are required.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility with working hours
- Computer/Device literacy
- Must be comutable to Worcester
- General Mechanical & electrical knowledge
- Some or all of the following are an advantage for this position:
- Experience with Motors and high pressure pumps
- CSCS Card
- You will provided with a van for travel, a tablet and a mobile phone.
