Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Assistants, who can work at pace, using dictation for a busy Fee Earner. This role involves providing administrative assistance, coordinating documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, agents and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to service delivery. Responsibilities
- File opening across residential sales and purchases
- Undertake initial Anti Money Laundering check
- Producing client care letter
- Collate office copies
- Gather redemption information
- Undertake searches
- Draft client letters and contract packs
- Assist with exchanges
- Act as first point of contact for all communication from clients and other parties involved in the transaction
- Maintain and build on excellent client and third party relationships through effective and timely communication and resolution of issues
- Escalation of issues as appropriate
- Work on post completion matters including registrations, file closure and archiving
- Ensure smooth operation of company’s conveyancing case management system
Requirements
- Competent in transcribing dictation to generate reports, statements and all client communication
- Previous administrative experience, within a legal property environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent analysis skills to review legal documents and identify key information
- Outstanding customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with clients and external partners
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation and correspondence
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools
