Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards while working in a welcoming setting. Previous experience is essential. We close Sundays and Mondays
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including assembling snacks or light meals
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Restock supplies and ensure the workspace remains organised and inviting
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is desirable
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and warmth
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
