We’re opening a new depot in the DE7 area and we’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join us and take responsibility for maintaining and repairing our fleet.
This is a brand-new role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck into a variety of mechanical work and wants to be part of something from the beginning.

The role: Working Mon to Fri, 7.30am-5.00pm on a varied fleet of commercial vehicles, including Iveco, Renault, Ford and MAN, carrying out everything from routine servicing and maintenance through to fault finding and more involved mechanical repairs.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance
- Engine repairs and mechanical work
- Wet belt replacements
- Brakes, suspension and general repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Identifying and repairing defects
- Preparing vehicles to keep them safe, reliable and on the road
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, practical and confident working independently. You'll need to be able to diagnose a problem, work out what needs doing and get on with the job to a high standard.
Starting salary £39,966.80 increasing depending on experience.
Pay: £40,000.00 per year
