We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop in High Wycombe.
We are an established vehicle repair and MOT garage, providing our customers with reliable, professional and honest automotive services. Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, great customer service and getting the job done right.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, and wants to become a valued member of our friendly and hardworking team.
About the Role
You’ll be carrying out a variety of servicing, maintenance, diagnostic and repair work across different makes and models. You’ll need to be confident working independently while also contributing to the wider workshop team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carrying out inspections and identifying faults or additional work required.
- Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
- Completing repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Carrying out MOT testing where qualified.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and completing any necessary repair work.
- Providing honest and professional technical recommendations.
- Working closely with the workshop team to keep jobs running efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Treating every customer's vehicle with care and respect.
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced technician who can hit the ground running and become an important part of our team.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop or garage.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working on a variety of makes and models.
- A MOT Tester qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- A good eye for detail and pride in the quality of your workmanship.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- The ability to manage your workload and work efficiently.
- A full UK driving licence.
