Groundworker / Skilled Labourer Required - Long-Term Position
Solent Groundworks Ltd are looking for an experienced groundworker or skilled labourer to join one of our existing gangs on a long-term basis.
We are looking for someone who is willing to travel, working as part of a gang on various groundwork and civil engineering projects.
The role is advertised in the Waterlooville area as our van leaves from Waterlooville each morning and may be able to collect suitable local candidates. Alternatively, applicants can make their own way directly to site.
Current start site:
Godalming, GU7 2DF.
Works generally include:
Substructure earthworks
Foundations & concrete works
Drainage
Ducts
External works & finishings
Applicants must have:
Valid CSCS card
Dumper ticket
Own PPE, including hard hat, safety boots and hi-vis vest
Groundworks experience
Able to understand and follow verbal instructions in English for site safety and day-to-day working
Reliability, and the ability to pick up a shovel without waiting for a committee meeting
Payment is made fortnightly for hours worked on site, at an agreed hourly rate.
