We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our team at South Moor Vets.
The role:
This is a permanent, full-time position based at either our Ivybridge or Dartington Practices.
As Branch Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the smooth and efficient running of the Practice, reporting any issues to the Practice Manager or Directors.
You’ll work closely with our Directors, Management, Reception team, Vets and Nurses to ensure our clients receive the outstanding service and care we deliver on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:
· Manage the daily operations of the branch.
· Scheduling and consistent management of the in-hours and out-of-hours rotas, ensuring adequate cover at all times.
· Checking and replying to emails, collating invoices, creating reports using Excel.
· Support recruitment, training of new employees, and staff development.
· Ensure compliance with all clinical, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
· Manage client accounts, keeping outstanding debt to a minimum and reporting issues.
· Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
· Promote a positive, team-focused culture.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous experience within a managerial position (Veterinary experience preferred).
· Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public.
· Strong organisation and planning skills and be adaptable and confident in a busy working environment.
· Passionate about both client care and animal welfare.
· Attention to detail.
· A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating system.
