Fire & Security Engineer – London (with progression to Senior within 6 months)
£45,000 – £55,000 Basic Salary
Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Monday–Friday
This growing fire and security provider is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join its London operation. This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine opportunities for fast progression. For the right individual, the company anticipates to move into a General Manager or Sales Management position within six months, if driven and you excel in the position.
Role Overview
The engineer will carry out installation, maintenance, servicing, and fault rectification across fire and security systems. Although the role is dual-discipline, candidates with a stronger fire background are welcome. The position may involve occasional travel across the South East, including areas such as Kent.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should bring a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of relevant industry standards, including BS5839-1, BS5266-1, and BS7671. Experience working within BAFE SP203-1 and SSAIB frameworks is expected. The ideal individual will demonstrate excellent customer service, strong IT capability, clear communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A forward-thinking, ambitious mindset is essential, along with the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
