Head Chef /Kitchen Manager required for a fantastic venue
We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident chef ready to take on a leadership role of Head Chef. You will work with the support of the Owner/Chef who takes the pressure off by helping prep and set up daily to ensure the team is ready and set from the get go, ensuring no last minute surprises. I need someone who can help drive a team of 8 staff to deliver consistently excellent food & maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting & managing a busy, high-volume kitchen.
- Maintaining high standards, consistency, and quality across all dishes
- Leading and mentoring the kitchen team, helping to train & develop junior chefs
- Taking ownership of the kitchen whilst supporting the wider kitchen operation
- Assisting with stock control, prep planning, and smooth kitchen operations
- Delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards, every service
- Help create menus, Chef specials, Outdoor kitchen menu - April to October, themed events throughout the year such as Oktoberfest etc….
Pay & Hours
- Permanent
- 40k basic salary
- TRONC ( up to 3k + per year)
- Basic salary based on a 40 hours working week
- Weekly pay
- We are closed Mondays & Tuesdays
- Days off will be together and you will not be disturbed on your rest days. Our team will always work together to allow the odd early dart to give that work/life balance.
- Food service stops at 8pm Wednesday- Saturday & 6pm Sundays
- Closed Christmas Day / Boxing Day & every bank holiday Monday
- Situated directly across from Widnes train station. Free Easy Parking.
