Carers Link Lancashire is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our team at our café and retail shop in Accrington.
You don't need previous experience. You don't need to commit to a full day. And you certainly don't need to be an expert!
Even a few hours of your time can make a huge difference.
Get involved in our Café
You could help with:
- Serving customers
- Making tea and coffee
- Taking orders
- Food preparation
- Clearing tables
- Keeping the café welcoming and tidy
- Supporting our fantastic volunteer team
Interested in kitchen work? We'll provide training, including a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
Or join our Retail Shop team
You could help with:
- Serving customers
- Sorting and displaying stock
- Pricing donations
- Preparing donated items
- Helping customers
- Keeping the shop looking great

We understand that people are busy, so we're not asking you to give up your whole day.
You might be able to give us 2–3 hours in the morning, an afternoon, or a few hours on a particular day each week.
What really helps us is having volunteers who can commit to a regular day or time, even if it's only for a few hours.
No experience? No problem. We'll show you the ropes and support you along the way.
