The Food and Beverage department at the award-winning visitor attraction, The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland, is looking for a kitchen assistant to join the team to prepare and cook fresh pizzas to order in our busy Pavilion Cafe during the summer season.
£10.85 per hour 18-20 yrs
£12.71 per hour 21 years +
- Ensure that all food prep areas are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness.
- To ensure all catering storage areas are organised and clean at all times.
- To prepare basic food ingredients as directed, ensuring the right tools are used as well as preparation methods.
- Follow relevant specifications as appropriate to ensure the correct ingredients and quantities are used.
- Ensure allergen requirements are followed throughout the process and goods are stored and labelled correctly.
- To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority stipulations.
- To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Health & Safety Policy
