We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our high-performing finance team.
The role

As a Pricing Analyst, you'll support strategic pricing decisions across the firm, improving profitability and ensuring fee arrangements are commercially effective, competitive, and aligned with client needs. This is a commercially focused role that combines strong analytical skills with practical financial expertise, offering the opportunity to influence national-level decisions and add real value across our service lines.
The personWe're looking for a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in a high-performing finance team, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
You will have experience using financial systems (preferably 3E), advanced Excel skills, and the ability to interpret data to support profitability and pricing decisions. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, with the confidence to build relationships across the business.
You'll be proactive, highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise your own workload while taking a collaborative approach to working with others.
The activities
Stakeholder Support and pricing managemnet
Work with Partners, business development, leadership, risk, legal and operational teams to structure client proposals and commercial arrangements, using robust pricing models and analysis to support decision-making on strategic opportunities.
Working with relevant Client Relationship Partners (and their Executive Support Staff) to understand and record pricing arrangements agreed with our clients.
Support negotiations on complex pricing arrangements with strategic clients and, where appropriate, lead on rate negotiations directly with clients.
Drive revenue growth and profitability through innovative pricing models, fee structures (including alternative fee arrangements), rate strategy and panel pricing approaches.
Provide support to the business to ensure the agreed rates review and annual standard charge rate review process is completed efficiently.
Work with other members of the Pricing team, and wider finance team, to offer a complete service to the business in respect of charging arrangements agreed with clients.
Become an expert to fully exploit the charging capabilities within the 3E system and understand how that can be applied to specific clients.
Embrace system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
