Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile, friendly, and proactive Receptionist to join our team . As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm welcome to guests, efficiently managing front desk operations, promoting the hotel's services, and assisting in various day-to-day tasks. This role requires someone who is comfortable wearing many hats and is willing to help with miscellaneous duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Registration and Front Desk Duties:
Greet and check-in guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
Ensure that the guest registration process, including payment processing and room assignment, is carried out accurately.
Sales and Service Promotion:
Promote and sell hotel services such as room upgrades, special packages, dining options, and local experiences.
Be proactive in suggesting ways guests can enhance their stay through our services.
Assist with basic marketing tasks like informing guests about promotions, distributing brochures, etc.
Administrative and Miscellaneous Tasks:
Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
Assist with handling reservations, cancellations, and adjustments.
Maintain accurate records and guest information in the system.
Assist with managing social media, guest reviews, and basic office duties.
Guest Relations:
Respond promptly to guest needs, requests, and complaints.
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any issues during their stay.
Offer personalized recommendations for local dining, entertainment, and attractions.
Collaborate with the Team:
Work closely with the hotel owners and other staff members to create a welcoming and efficient environment.
Be flexible to support the team in various areas of the business, as required.
Qualifications:
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role or hospitality environment. Training in internal software will be provided.
Skills:
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Strong multitasking abilities and a willingness to assist in various tasks.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with reservation systems or the ability to learn them quickly.
Sales-minded approach to promoting hotel services.
Must know European languages.
There will be two rounds of interviews : One with RS Worldwide and one with the Client.
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
