Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site-Constructor who is open to candidates from and willing to relocate to. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee large-scale projects, ensuring seamless operations, safety, and efficiency on-site. As a Construction Worker, you will be responsible for executing renovation, insulation, flooring, and basic construction tasks on-site. You will assist with site preparation, structural improvements, property finishes, and work collaboratively with the maintenance and property teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and knowledge of building techniques.
Key Responsibilities
· Installation of thermal insulation in ceilings and walls
· Laying laminate, vinyl, ceramic, or wood flooring
· Building partitions or divisions using drywall or wooden framing
· Installing baseboards, door/window frames, and moldings
· Use of handheld and power tools, adhesives, and fixing materials
· Inspecting and repairing minor structural components
· Assisting with exterior refurbishments, including rendering, paving, and wall repairs
· Preparing properties for tenant handover through painting, sealing, and general finishing work
· Performing site preparation, clean-up, and manual labor tasks
· Transporting materials and maintaining safe work zones
· Collaborating with the maintenance and property management teams to meet project deadlines
Experience
· At least 3 year of experience in light construction work, especially in residential and commercial properties
· Having your own construction tools bag (hammer, measuring tape, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.) and equipment is strongly preferred.
· Ability to handle basic construction tools safely and effectively.
· The construction worker must have their own tools and equipment to carry out the work.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
· High level of responsibility and independence
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Basic English required to understand and follow instructions
· Ability to drive
