An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join our team at our Warrington office on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover. The contract is expected to last between 9 and 12 months.
Salary: up to £25,000 per annum
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
About the role
This role encompasses general office administration, including transport coordination, and plays a key part in ensuring all site documentation is prepared and issued in line with project start and completion dates. As the role supports a fast-paced operation, it requires a proactive and responsive approach to managing changing priorities.
Role responsibilities
- Coordinate accommodation and travel arrangements for site-based employees as required.
- Prepare and issue site documentation and project packs in accordance with operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records by scanning, filing, and archiving completed project documentation.
- Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Support the administration of the company fleet, including arranging vehicle servicing, MOTs, compliance checks, and maintaining transport records.
- Organise employee training, schedule courses, and ensure training records and certifications remain up to date.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Demolition and Asbestos divisions.
- Assist with maintaining compliance documentation and supporting operational processes.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, site teams, and external suppliers to ensure the smooth running of daily activities.
- Undertake a variety of general office administration duties in support of the wider business.
About you
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads on a daily basis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- Well organised.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Being able to work calmly under pressure.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
