In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Your expertise in nursing, communication, and organization will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is ready for use
- Provide excellent patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
- Support patients through appointment scheduling, reminders, and post-treatment instructions in clear English
- Uphold high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily operations and ensure efficient patient flow
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals during their dental visits
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Proven nursing experience with knowledge of dental procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and communication tools
