Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons aligned with curriculum standards, adapting content for students with varied abilities and learning styles

- Support students in developing foundational digital literacy, including basic computer skills, software applications, and online safety
- Have good SEND experience
- Incorporate elements of speech therapy, communication skills, and behavior management strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive lesson plans that integrate special education needs and early childhood education principles
- Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts and boost student confidence in technology use
- Monitor student progress through assessments, feedback, and regular documentation, ensuring continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, respect, and active participation
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching IT or related subjects within an educational setting, preferably with children or young learners
- The requirement is going to be one full day per week lasting 7-8 hours per day.
- Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management techniques, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children across early childhood stages, including preschool or toddler care environments
- Familiarity with speech therapy techniques and their application in educational contexts is desirable
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with diverse needs, including those requiring additional support in physical education or childcare activities
- Demonstrated organizational skills for lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and tracking student progress
