Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Office Assistant to join our Stock Office team. This role involves managing stock levels, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient inventory control to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent customer service, strong attention to detail and experience with warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist and maintain stock against customer requirements
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process orders and receipts, monitor stock levels and generate reports
- Support shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and updating our customers where applicable
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse efficiency and reducing costs
- Collaborate with customers, warehouse and transport companies to coordinate shipments and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records to facilitate smooth operations
Experience
- Organisational skills
- Experience of stock management
- Proven experience of customer service
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) - preferred
