Need experience of stores is a MUST and Driving Licence
Key responsibilities
Receive incoming goods and check deliveries against orders and report any damages or shortage
· Pick, pack, and prepare equipment for customer orders or site deliveries, ensuring accuracy and safe packaging.
· Maintain accurate stock levels using stock systems or manual logs.
· Store materials safely, ensuring correct handling to avoid damage and efficient warehouse layout.
· Select and allocate correct materials for installations or distribution, ensuring orders are complete and ready on time.
· Assist with ordering stock, liaising with suppliers, and monitoring low stock levels to ensure continuous supply.
· Complete goods-in/out records, delivery notes, and update stock systems accurately.
· Follow manual handling procedures, and maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse.
· Renewable energy knowledge – desirable.
Skills required
- Full UK driving licence for deliveries and collections
- Excellent attention to detail when checking goods in and out
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills when liaising with team members and suppliers
- Experience in goods-in and goods-out processes
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Good manual handling and physical fitness for lifting and moving goods
