Vertu Toyota Glasgow is looking for a Backshift Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team. - Basic salary of £37,000 - £41,000 plus a 12% backshift uplift
- Over-performance bonuses to reward your hard work

With a modern, well-equipped workshop and a supportive, experienced team, this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your diagnostic and technical expertise within a high-performing dealership. You'll work closely with an experienced Service Manager and a skilled technical team, diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle faults while supporting the wider workshop team.

As a Backshift Diagnostic Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the highest standards of vehicle repair and maintenance. You will be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, identifying complex vehicle faults and supporting the workshop team in delivering quality first-time fixes.
Working on a wide range of Toyota vehicles, including hybrid and electric models, you will utilise the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information to accurately diagnose and rectify faults. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining workshop efficiency and delivering an exceptional customer experience built on trust and honesty.
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
- MOT licence preferred but not essential
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
