Capella Industrial are recruiting on behalf of a well established precision engineering manufacturer specialising in the manufacture, maintenance and repair of high precision tooling used across a wide range of manufacturing industries.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker to join their skilled toolroom team.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:15pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
The Role
Working within a busy toolroom, you'll be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, assembling and maintaining precision tooling to exact customer specifications.
Duties Include
- Manufacturing and assembling precision tooling
- Bench fitting and finishing components
- Repairing and maintaining mould tools and precision tooling
- Reading engineering drawings
- Measuring and inspecting components
- Working to extremely tight tolerances
What We're Looking For
- Previous Toolmaker or Bench Fitter experience
- Precision engineering background
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail
- Excellent fitting skills
