Plant View House is preparing to open a brand-new therapeutic children's home in
Bradford, providing care and support for children and young people who have
experienced trauma, disrupted attachments and complex life experiences.
We are looking for compassionate, motivated and resilient individuals to join our
founding team.

About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play an important part in helping children
feel safe, valued and supported within a warm, nurturing and therapeutic home.
Working alongside an experienced management team, you will help children develop
independence, build positive relationships and achieve their individual goals through
everyday care and meaningful experiences.
Every day is different, and your role may include supporting children with education,
attending appointments, participating in activities, developing life skills, promoting
positive routines and helping create lasting memories.

Experience within children's residential care is welcomed but is not essential. We
recognise that people from a variety of backgrounds bring valuable skills and
experience, and we are committed to supporting the right candidates to develop
within the role.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight shifts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards
this qualification.
- Previous experience working with children or young people.
- Experience supporting individuals with emotional or behavioural needs.

Pay: From £13.25 per hour
Work Location: In person
