We are recruiting Event Porters and Logistics Operatives to support the delivery of the prestigious Cornbury Horse Trials 2027, taking place on a stunning prestigious estate in Chipping Norton.
This is a physically active, outdoor role supporting the set-up, live operation, and breakdown of a major equestrian event. Successful candidates will play a key part in keeping the event running smoothly by moving equipment, delivering stock across site, and supporting the wider event operations team.
Shift Patterns Set-Up & Breakdown Days
Live Event Days
- 5:00am to 1:00pm
- 12:00pm to 8:00pm
Applicants need to be available to work throughout the event period.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Assisting with event set-up and breakdown
- Moving equipment, furniture, barriers and stock around site
- Operating buggies and logistics vehicles safely
- Supporting event logistics and operational teams
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
You must:
- Be available for all event dates according to the above shift patterns
- Be comfortable driving buggies and site vehicles
- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting
- Be reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work effectively as part of a team
