Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental progress. Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants.
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and security of all children in the baby room.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, routines, and any concerns to ensure effective communication with parents and colleagues.
- Foster a warm, caring environment that encourages curiosity and learning through play.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and early education.
- Support children's individual needs, including feeding, changing nappies, and comforting them as required.
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting, ideally at Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide junior staff when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children, understanding their individual needs.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and early childhood education principles.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently.
