Café Manager / Lead Café Operator – Brick & Brew
Bean, Dartford | Monday to Friday | Approx. 6:45am–3:00pm
I’m looking for a reliable, experienced and personable individual to take day-to-day ownership of a brand-new independent café, Brick & Brew, opening in Bean, Dartford.
This is a rare hospitality role offering weekday daytime hours only — no evenings and no weekends — together with a package designed to reward the right person as the café succeeds.

I want someone who feels genuinely invested in making Brick & Brew successful, rather than simply turning up for a shift. The role Brick & Brew will serve fresh breakfasts, hot lunches, quality coffee, snacks and drinks, primarily to people working on and around a busy local development.
You would take responsibility for running the café during the working day, including:* Opening and setting up each morning* Preparing and serving food and drinks* Providing friendly, consistent customer service* Keeping the kitchen and café clean, organised and compliant* Monitoring stock and letting me know what needs ordering* Controlling waste and maintaining food quality* Completing opening, closing and food-safety checks* Building relationships with regular customers* Helping develop the menu and increase sales
I will remain responsible and supporting the business, staffing decisions, finances and overall management. What I need is someone I can trust to confidently take ownership of the café while it is open and run it with the same care and pride they would give their own business.The right person You will ideally have experience in a café, kitchen, catering or similar hospitality environment. More importantly, you will be:* Honest and completely dependable* Friendly and naturally good with customers* Organised, clean and commercially aware* Calm when service becomes busy* Comfortable preparing and serving food* Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do* Interested in helping a new business grow* Someone who takes genuine pride in their work
