The Role
An exciting opportunity is now available for a paraplanner. The successful candidate must be able to analyse information and conduct research to produce articulate and appropriate suitability reports. This must be done in such a way as to ensure that the firm’s client and service propositions are delivered in an efficient and robust way, whilst maintaining high levels of risk management and operational effectiveness. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for delivering high quality support in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Carrying out research relating to pensions/investments and preparing suitability reports for a team of New Business/Wealth Management advisers within the existing Paraplanning Team Working as a team with all stakeholders within the business to ensure they strive for great client outcomes Suggesting process improvements Undertaking CPD for continuous improvement
What we're looking for
Paraplanning experience (min of 2/3 years) and ideally experience specific to pensions/pension switching or experience of report writing.
Proven experience in a Paraplanner role, ideally within a financial advisory firm.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, compliant financial reports. Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
It would be desirable if the candidate has experience with IntelligentOffice/
DynamicPlanner/Genovo/Selectapension.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards completing the diploma.

Pay: Up to £47,000.00 per year
