Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our busy automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres quickly on a variety of vehicles. Duties
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools with precision and care
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures, ensuring safety standards are met
- Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation
- Perform tyre repairs such as patching or plugging as required
- Assist with wheel alignment and rotation tasks when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during tyre servicing procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance is preffered
- Mechanical knowledge is desirable to understand vehicle systems and tyre-related components
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment is beneficial
- Driving license would be ideal
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
