Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our family run cafe team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cafe or kitchen environment, demonstrating a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in serving food at a fast pace from a vast menu. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
- Ability to bake cakes and tray bakes.
- Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cook in a cafe or similar kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to prepare a variety of items at one time.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including Saturdays
