Job Summary
Are you an experienced PA or Executive Assistant who is highly organised, proactive and always thinking “what happens next?”
We’re looking for a Founder’s PA / Executive Assistant to become the trusted right hand to an entrepreneurial Founder working across a growing group of creative, technology and AI businesses.
This is much more than traditional diary management. You’ll help bring structure, organisation, accountability and momentum to a fast-moving business, allowing the Founder to focus on clients, strategy, relationships and growth.
You’ll suit this role if you enjoy variety, take ownership and are comfortable working independently in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
About the Company
Media Photography Company (MPC) is a fast-growing creative business specialising in visual communications and Out of Home (OOH) advertising.
Working with leading brands, agencies and media owners, we combine photography, creativity, technology, AI and data-led planning to produce dynamic visual content.
We’re a small, friendly and hands-on team where everyone contributes and you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on how the business operates and grows.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Founder’s PA / EA, you’ll:
- Act as the Founder’s trusted right hand, helping organise priorities, protect their time and turn ideas and conversations into clear actions.
- Manage a busy diary, meetings, correspondence, appointments and logistics, ensuring the Founder is prepared and briefed.
- Attend key meetings, capture decisions and actions, assign owners and deadlines, and follow up to ensure things happen.
- Maintain oversight of outstanding actions, projects, deadlines, proposals and client commitments.
- Anticipate requirements and potential problems, identifying anything that may have been overlooked before it becomes urgent.
- Act as an effective bridge between the Founder, wider team, clients, suppliers and business partners.
- Support multiple business projects, coordinating information across creative, technical, commercial and operational teams.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, meeting materials and straightforward correspondence.
- Carry out research into potential clients, suppliers, competitors, companies and commercial opportunities.
- Support the smooth running of the office, including suppliers, contractors, equipment and operational requirements.
- Coordinate recruitment, applications and onboarding for regional photographers and new team members.
- Handle confidential business and personal information with complete discretion and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- At least three years’ experience in a PA, EA or similar business support role.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A naturally proactive and solutions-focused approach – you don’t need to be told every next step.
- Strong judgement and the ability to distinguish between what is genuinely urgent and what can wait.
- Confidence working with senior clients, partners, suppliers and different personalities.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to follow up, challenge appropriately and keep people accountable.
- A high level of discretion, reliability and attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness, curiosity and an interest in understanding how businesses work.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- An interest in working with modern digital tools including AI, Notion, Airtable and social media platforms.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll become someone the Founder and wider team can rely on to stay one step ahead, bring clarity to competing priorities and make things happen without always being asked.
You’ll help create more time and headspace for the Founder while keeping actions, projects and opportunities moving across the business.
If you’re organised, proactive, commercially minded and love being at the centre of a busy business, this is an opportunity to take real ownership and make a visible impact.
