The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support for the Diagnostic and Surgery service within Urology based at St James’s Hospital, as well as providing wider support to the Urology department.
Main areas of responsibility and knowledge include but are not restricted to
Managing the Diagnostic and Surgery service within Urology, including the adding of patients to Diagnostic waiting lists, booking the appointments and updating all relevant systems.
Knowledge of the Cancer Pathways, particularly understanding of the 2ww targets.
Knowledge of the Diagnostic Pathways and targets.
Diary and template management.
Knowledge of Hospital systems and applications i.e. PAS, PPM1, PPM+ and ICE
Ensuring appropriate and timely escalations are made regarding any challenges and potential breaches to the management team.
