Job Title: Seasonal Tearoom staff
Work base: Museum of Lead Mining, Wanlockhead
Wages and hours of work: Real Living wage.
Part time, hours and days to be worked to enable the rota which includes weekends and Bank Holidays. Museum is open 11.00 until 16.00, but may vary. The season is scheduled to finish at the end of September.
Job Purpose: The purpose of this specific post is to offer food and drinks in a timely and well-presented manner. At all times to surpass all health & hygiene standards in the kitchen, tearoom and outdoor eating areas whilst ensuring an enjoyable visitor experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Prepare and present food items according to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tearoom and kitchen areas.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to meet service demands during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent guest services and support.
Hospitality experience is preferred but all training will be provided.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: £13.45 per hour
