As a Maintenance, Repairs and Operations Storeroom Assistant you will join our team and play a key role in ensuring that spare parts, tools, and materials are available when needed to support maintenance and operational activities.
Reporting to the MRO Storeroom Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of storeroom activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking inventory. This is a hands-on role that combines inventory management, system administration, and continuous improvement, offering an opportunity to contribute to an efficient, safe, and well-organised working environment.
3 days on , 3 days off , shift 23:00 – 11 am.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue spare parts, tools, and materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Process inventory transactions in SAP, including receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments.

Perform routine cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.

Maintain stock levels through replenishment activities and identify damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory.

Ensure materials are correctly labelled, stored, and organised in line with inventory and location requirements.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised storeroom environment using 5S principles and visual management standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, including inventory processes, storage methods, barcode systems, and workplace organisation.

Assist maintenance teams by preparing materials for work orders, managing consumables, and responding to urgent parts requests.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in a storeroom, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or maintenance support environment.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and maintaining reliable records.

Comfortable using computer systems, including ERP, CMMS, or inventory management platforms.

Ability to work in a structured environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Knowledge of spare parts, tools, inventory control, or industrial materials would be advantageous.

Experience with SAP, barcode scanning technology, forklift operation, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not essential.
