Techneopro is a small manufacturing company in Lostwithiel that specialises in manufacturing neoprene products. We are looking for a Production Operative to join our team.
Responsibilities
- A key part of neoprene product manufacture is product gluing. This requires careful glue application with a brush before forming the product shapes.
- Attention to detail is essential to create high-quality products.
- Conduct routine inspections of products during the production process to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage; willingness to learn is essential
- The role requires careful use of your hands to build high-quality products consistently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control during production processes
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials for extended periods throughout shifts
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
Working hours: 36.5 hours per week7.30am – 4.30pm (Mon, Tues & Thurs), 7.30am – 5.00pm (Weds) and 7.30am -12.00pm (Friday)
