Out & About Community Services are a one-to-one, community-based day service for people with learning disabilities. Our ethos combines person centred practice, relationship-based work and an outcome-focused model.
We welcome applications from motivated and creative people, who are able to think on their feet and are comfortable with lone working in the community.
Please note: you will be supporting adults with learning disabilities who live in the London area, so living in or close to London is a requirement of the job. Out & About does not have an office, so the role will be a combination of community-based, and home-based work.
Regular supervision is provided, including access to independent supervisors from occupational therapy, social work, teaching, and a specialist autism consultant.
Starter pay rate £13.50/hr, rising to £14.00/hr in late 2027.
There is also the opportunity to become part of the Out & About training team, which would provide a higher hourly rate.
