The Trust has the unique chance to completely rebuild our St Helier Emergency Department following capital funding approval from NHS England.
To ensure this multimillion-pound build is clinically led we are looking for an experienced Emergency Department nurse join the project leadership team for the next two years. The successful candidate will be based full time within the St Helier Emergency Department and the balance between your clinical and project workload will flex as the project evolves and time commitment to the project develops. You will be the pivotal link for the nursing, medical and operational teams keeping them engaged, informed, and part of the transition.
This role offers the opportunity to gain capital project delivery and estate transformation experience whilst playing a key role in shaping the future design of the Emergency Department.

The Clinical Nurse Lead will provide senior nursing leadership and professional expertise to support the redevelopment of the Emergency Department.
The postholder will ensure that nursing workforce requirements, patient safety considerations, infection prevention, and operational workflows are fully embedded in the design and commissioning of the new department.
Working closely with the Lead Consultant, operational teams and estates programme team, the postholder will ensure that the new Emergency Department supports safe, effective and patient-centred care.
The role will ensure clinical governance, patient safety/experience are embedded with a nursing perspectives throughout the design, construction and commissioning phases of the redevelopment.
