We are currently seeking a highly organised, thorough and professional Finance Assistant with great interpersonal and communication skills for this key role within our Finance team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £32,154 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £27,154, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

- You’ll be supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our Finance team, helping to ensure everything behind the scenes operates accurately and efficiently
- Working across a range of finance and operational systems, including SUN6, Lightspeed, and Book4Time; investigating queries and resolving any inconsistencies
- Processing cash books and reconciling company credit cards daily, you’ll be investigating and resolving any discrepancies with a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate financial records
- Managing our gift voucher processes and reconciliations, ensuring every transaction is accounted for accurately
- Supporting our Membership team by managing member accounts through our Peoplevine software, and responding to queries promptly and professionally
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable activities across both Gleneagles and Townhouse, helping to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments
- Monitoring financial procedures and controls, escalating any reconciliation issues or control concerns to the Finance Manager
- Building great working relationships with colleagues across the estate, providing friendly, knowledgeable support whenever it's needed
- Playing an important part in delivering the exceptional Gleneagles experience by ensuring the financial processes behind every guest stay run seamlessly
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
- You have experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role, with a strong understanding of financial administration and reconciliations
- Comfortable working with different financial and operational systems, and Microsoft Excel, and always keen to learn new processes and ways of working
- Naturally organised, methodical, you have an excellent eye for detail while managing multiple priorities, spotting issues before they become problems
- Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your colleague it’s the first time
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
