We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Cleaner / Yard Operative to join our busy vehicle body repair centre.
This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, organised and safe, as well as moving customer vehicles around the premises when required.
Main duties:
- Cleaning, sweeping and washing workshop floors
- Keeping repair bays and working areas clean and tidy
- Keeping the yard and outside areas clean and organised
- Keeping toilets and staff areas clean
- Moving and parking vehicles around the workshop and yard
- Cleaning and valeting vehicles
Requirements:
- Full valid UK driving licence – essential
- Confident and careful when moving different types of vehicles
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
- Previous experience in a garage, bodyshop, workshop or similar environment would be an advantage.
Pay: £25,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
