We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Broker to join our financial services team, and based in our boutique estate agency. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients to secure suitable mortgage solutions, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Duties
- Analyse clients’ financial situations and determine suitable mortgage options
- Advise clients on available mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment terms
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications on behalf of clients
- Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and solicitors to facilitate smooth transactions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and lending criteria
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals
- Conduct market research to stay informed about current mortgage trends and products
- Ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards
Experience
- Proven experience in financial services, particularly within mortgage broking or related fields
- Basic maths skills for accurate financial calculations and assessments
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly to clients
- Organised approach to manage multiple client cases efficiently
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates; training will be provided for the right applicant
