We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at Rookies Day Nursery as assistant staff across all four rooms of the setting.
The position offers part-time hours ranging from 25hrs a week, Monday-Friday over 52 weeks of the year. The position is on a rotational shift basis working either early to help open up or from the afternoon to close to help shut down.
Hours include 7:30am - 12:30pm or 1pm -6pm
Some of the responsibilities of the role:
-Assist in the daily care and supervision of children
- support staff in setting up an exciting and engaging learning environment
- prepping resources that will be used throughout the day
- supporting staff in health and safety checks with opening andshutting down the setting
- preparation for meal times and snack times
- Carrying out fun and exciting activities that are age and stage appropriate alongside excellent interactions with children aged 9 months- 4 years and 11 months.

Prior experience in childcare is a mandatory requirement and has obtained a childcare qualification at Level 2 or 3 is essential.
