Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our small but busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and assisting with basic food preparation when needed.
Duties
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team.
- Supporting chefs with deliveries and stock rotation.
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout the shift.
- Collecting and disposing of waste materials in accordance with company systems
Requirements
- Previous experience in this role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Good organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
