Sport in Mind is an independent mental health charity founded in Berkshire in 2011, with a simple mission: "To improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems through sport and physical activity" Sport in Mind is the leading mental health sports charity in England, delivering innovative physical activity projects in partnership with the NHS to promote mental wellbeing, improve physical health, combat social isolation, and empower people to move their lives forward in a positive direction. We are looking for coaches to run our weekly sessions for anyone over 17, to engage and empower people, creating a safe supportive environment for people to have fun and meet others.

Job Purpose
1. Deliver a 1 hour weekly high quality and fun sport and activity sessions for adults experiencing mental health challenges Main Duties and Responsibilities. To facilitate and deliver sport and well-being activities
2. Inspire and motivate individuals to have fun and socialise when playing sport to improve their mental health.
3. Be committed to good practice and ensure familiarity with all Sport in Mind policies and procedures (e.g. health and safety, confidentiality and safeguarding).
4. Ensure the highest level of safeguarding is adhered to and risk assessments are followed. 5. Undertake administrative tasks – participant forms, registers, data collection, online data systems.
6. Promote equality and diversity in all aspects of your work by developing and maintaining relationships, ensuring that colleagues are treated fairly and with respect/dignity.
DBS check required for this post as well and relevant Coaching/Instructors qualifications and insurance certificate.
