Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part Time Cleaner ( 6-8 hours per week) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and Residential environments. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, notifying management when stock is low
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable in accordance with company standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
Skills
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
