The Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve plant equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical maintenance and fault finding safely
Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Work with PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and control panels
Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records
Support installation and commissioning of equipment
Identify and implement reliability improvements
About You
Time-served Electrical Apprentice
18th Edition qualification (desirable)
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong fault-finding skills (PLCs, inverters, control systems)
Ability to read electrical schematics
Proactive, team-focused, and safety-conscious
