We are seeking to employ a positive, friendly, and reliable individual in our sports and gaming hall . The job will involve evening and weekend work so candidates must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, either day or evening shifts. There may also be additional shifts during the week, evenings or days, as and when required.
Whilst working you will be solely responsible for the day to day running of the business, so being able to work on your own initiative is important. Previous customer service, cash handling experience and a general interest in sports including pool and snooker would be desirable, but not essential.
The position is part-time, and permanent. Immediate start for the right candidate.
The role will involve:
- Welcoming customers into the business, and offering tea /coffee and refreshments to customers when required.
- Ensuring the cash balance held is correct at all stages of your shift.
- Ensuring the business premises are clean and presentable to the public at all times.
- Ensuring pool and snooker tables are always maintained to a high standard for play.
- Key holding duties / opening and closing the business.
- Generally 6/ 7 hour evening shifts from 5 or 6pm to 12am. Day shifts from 9.30am - 5/6pm.
- 3/4 shifts per week. Must be able and willing to cover other shifts as and when required.
