Production Coordinator
The X-Cel Group, are manufacturers of high specification component parts and assemblies, with HQ based in the national hub of engineering expertise – the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) S60 5FS. Due to business growth we are looking to recruit into a new position of Production Coordinator.
The Production Coordinator will support the Operations Director in the effective management and supervision of the shopfloor departments including machining, assembly, testing and quality, to cohesively work together to meet targets and deadlines.
Duties and responsibilities;
· Oversee the day to day production and supervision thereof
· Scheduling manufacturing orders, working with purchasing, supply chain, and customers
· Drive and coordinate internal departments to achieve production output.
· Coordinate/attend inspection visits
· Responsibility of ensuring products are efficiently and effectively shipped and invoiced
Our successful candidate:
- Experience in a similar role from an engineering manufacturing environment
- Have recent experience of operating a Maternial Requirements Planning system
- Must be able to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize to suit the demands of the business
- Has the willingness to follow management directions to achieve business goals
- Self-motivated and demonstrates clear focus and drive in order to make a positive contribution to the business
- Proficiency in MS Office
Hours of work:
- Salary £30,900 to £33,650 depending on experience
- Core Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-12:00 (39 hours per week)
