Job Summary
Vita Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic and committed Salaried GPs to join our growing clinical team.
We provide primary care to approximately 55,000 patients across our practices in Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham and Bexhill, supported by a well-established multidisciplinary team and experienced operational management.
We are looking for clinicians who enjoy working collaboratively, are confident managing a varied workload and are keen to contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful applicant will undertake the full range of duties expected of a Salaried GP, including:
- Routine face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Same-day and urgent care clinics
- Clinical triage using our total triage model
- Duty doctor sessions
- Home visits where clinically appropriate
- Reviewing pathology, correspondence and clinical results
- Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, ACPs, pharmacists, paramedics and other allied healthcare professionals
- Supporting safe and effective clinical decision-making across the practice
- Participating in clinical meetings and quality improvement activities
Experience of working within a total triage model or confidence in clinical triage would be advantageous, although support can be provided.

Person SpecificationEssential
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
- Included on the NHS England Performers List
- MRCGP (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
Desirable
- Experience of working within a total triage model
- Experience using EMIS Web
- Interest in service development, teaching or leadership
